How about another walking stick carving contest? I was going through my closet and found mine from last time. That seemed like a good activity that was pretty fun.

Carving is fine as long as it's not freezing outside and our fingers are too numb! Jeff can choose the contest, this is his gathering. I'm content sitting around a fire.

Slingshots would be good. I just bough a bunch of those little metal balls. You know, the ones that somehow found their way to the franklin stove chimney.

Carving never works for me. Everything I carve ends up helping the fire last a little longer.

I started packing yesterday. Got two CO2 pistols with BBs and CO2 cartridges all cased up. Axe and hatchet sharpened and oiled. Carving knives and tools packed. Decided to go traditional with my belt knife for the weekend...
