That's a good looking pattern and still has nice clean lines. Looks like it's got some good company, too!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I really wanted to show a close up of the wood on this Yukon, John you did a great job on this one!

I just want to point out that I often think I know exactly what I like in a knife, then John makes something I would have never thought of and I like it way more then anything I could have come up with. This Yukon is an example of just that for me.

Question: How much work has John done in elephant ivory?

I don't recall seeing many knives offered in that medium.

I like the grinds on that trapper. John is one of my favorite knife guys,plus he likes to fish.

Tom Terrific: I have made 75-80 ele ivory knives. It is one of my favorite materials and I finally figured out how to work with it. Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry carefully!

Here's one that John just finished up for me. 3.5 inch amber stag Lanny's Clip. Turned out nice. John's a likable character and is super easy to work with.

The fitting of that stag and the color are as good as on any knife I have ever seen.

Panther it doesn't get any better,you have a gorgeous knife,absolutely perfect John.
