Joint ABS/Guild Show

Unfortunately the airport is around 20 miles from downtown K.C. If there is alternate transportation airport to downtown available, the hotel should know.

Gary

All though there is no hotel shuttle provided from airport to hotel. There are many shuttle services to get you to and from the airport to the hotel. Below is a link that gives you many to call and choose from:

The Downtain Marriott is not real close (walking distance) to some real entertainment and more options for dining. You will need to find transportation to get these types of areas. These areas would be Westport (many bars, and food venues) and the Country Club Plaza (very nice shopping area and many nice restaurants to eat at). There is also Crown Center for shopping and an upscale restaurant and Union Station (which is a nice historical landmark).

As we get closer we will post up some food and entertainment things close by for those that want to adventure out.

I got my check sent in for my table.
I'm really looking forward to this show!
As long as it's promoted by the table holders and show committee it
should be a good one!
Jon

I got my table too. Glad to see you're going Jon. It'll be great to see you again.

What allows the law in Kansas City to the port of the knife? ....if I want to eat the steak with my knife, I can take it with me? :-)

There are no federal laws prohibiting the carrying of knives and the only Missouri state laws that I am aware of applies only to switchblades. If there are any city ordinances in Kansas City then I am unaware of them. Maybe one of the Kansas City residents can enlighten us more.

:) I don't think there will be any problem with you using your new knife on a steak. Just remember that when you fly back home to put any knives that you acquire in your check through luggage.
