Why? What's "wrong" with an earned blade patina? The German Silver/Nickel Silver and where applicable brass bolsters change color/patina, why not the blade(s) and backspring(s) or lock bar too?
For the BOM I couldn't afford it, but a 110 or 112 with full size 5160 drop point and clip point blades (with long pulls that arn't on the same side) and lock bars, copper bolsters, and horn or antler covers would be nice, in my opinion.
(or a 301 or larger stockman with 5160 blades and springs, color case hardened iron/steel bolsters and liners with checkered walnut covers, with brass or bronze pins and hammer and an anvil shield.)
Regardless of what they came up with and are building, I am confident that (a) it will sell out the day it is released, and (b) I won't have the funds for it.
