I have 4 kids. I have a limit of 3 knives. So I give my kids a knife like this each. Leaves me and another with zero. Should I complain that 5 should be the limit? If 1 is the limit then someone would be upset if it ended up on ebay. I bought 3, I took into consideration 2 others who may not of had the opportunity to grab one. I dont see any issues with that.
 
I’m not judging the guys who buy 3 and sell some.

I got a deal one time on two Randall knives. I really couldn’t afford one. So I bought both paid one shipping fee. Sold one for a profit. I even let the guy pick the one he wanted. He got a good deal I got a better one. We were both happy.

It’s just being smart.

Craig and Mike have always been fair with me. Without them we would have no inside guys.
 
Not trying to argue Roger, it just gets frustrating to read complaints and finger pointing at Buck or someone else when it comes to availability. The only person to blame is the person themselves. Buck didnt make too little of a quantity, its just a qty. Do you want one and didnt get one?

I do have a couple. I have one coming in September not sure which ones to keep. I’ll likely sell the 8” model 1, on top.

Craig and Mike are good guys. From what I know, Craig is more exclusive to Buck than Mike. Mike has shown and talked about collecting or accumulating Ruana, Tops(don't know if it's just the collabs), Busse and a few others. Craig not so much, but he's a knife guy and we know about knife guys.

I do collect others. I sell a few but nothing like Craig does. I fell out of my chair when I saw he was in the top 5% sellers.
 
I wasn't implying that Buck made too few of this knife, nor do I care how many people buy or what they do with them. I'm just saying there's obviously a demand for more AND it's still July, so it would be nice if they could make some more. Something tells me my wish is more complicated that I realize though......
 
I have seen limited edition knives with production numbers far fewer than BOTM production be for sale for weeks.

It's a bummer when you miss out.....
I just go on to the next one.
I appreciate the ones I get that I really want when I do get them.

I have a number of knives that I would never have if it weren't for those folks that resell. I'm glad they do. I feel they have always been fair. My choice. I'm thankful for the resource.

Sometimes they have a better eye for things that I catch onto later.
My collection wouldn't be the same without them that's for sure.
