June 2008 San Jose "Chop Fest"

I really wished I could have stayed until the end and did some chopping. The library was closing and my group kept calling me to hurry. Oh well, that just means we'll have to setup another one soon. :D

The FABM performed as expected. It can hang right in there with the heavy weights. Check out the pics and the vids. It went through the 2X4 in about 11 or so chops while the much heavier FBMLE did it in 9. What it lacked in weight it made up for in speed and velocity. It was so fast that you can hardly even see it in some of those pics :D To be fair I wasn't really trying all that hard with the FABM in the vid. I had to up the ante with the FBMLE because Norcalblacktail just smoked through the 2X4 in 6 secs flat! Competition cutter material he is!

Next time around I am going to give it all I can muster. I am still holding back some for the fear of losing control of the blade.
