June 2019 Buck of the Month - Released

I wonder if Buck will offer different types and colors of scales and blade steel options so we can change things around to suit our needs when the mood or task strikes.

I love the concept and hope it's something Buck does more of. The aluminum frame has really wrecked things for me. There's no going back, I fear.

$120 is a bit rich for me though.

I tried talking myself into getting one, but just can't do it.

Brace yourselves for my humble opinion...
I have more confidence in a knife that's pinned and polished than one held together with screws.

Not only the confidence part; but the craftsmanship that goes into a pinned and polished knife versus one that the assembly tools are little more than a screw driver? Pride in ownership; for all that's worth.

I have 1 screw together 110. It's actually a 560 that I took apart myself. I don't carry it or use it, but it's my "mule" when I feel like doing something silly. Like my 560 folding "Beer Hunter", for instance...

We as humans are never satisfied and that is what makes the world go a round :thumbsup: I like the screw together over pins and polish. As long as they are a good grade should never be an issue if properly tightened  as far as aluminum well it wouldn't be my choice but I never thought an aluminum framed handgun would've ever replaced a 1911 eather :D I like the simple concept of the screws and with steel threaded inserts should be a strong setup :thumbsup:
But I also see the beauty in the polished up 110s as well  I even hope Buck comes out with a pocket clip screw together model. I guess I'am human too :)

That's pretty cool

Nice knife. Wanted one. Went to get one. Price tag said “no sir, you will not.”

Although I prefer the traditional pins, I think a screw together would be cool to have.

ive changed my mind on this one......not many modern 110s factory made screwed together. dont care for the red micarta on this one....would have preferred ebony. doesnt matter as its screwed together and red can be replaced easier at some point if wanted. so I'm in. screwed won me over. lots of opportunity for easier mods if wanted.

dont mind the stone washed myself.

Buck has a great Warranty :) and you did hear of the pine box :p:p

Don't understand the pine box reference but I can tell you that my aluminum framed 110 is hands down my favorite Buck by a very large measure.
