For me it was challenge enough, to sort of get a MOP slab on it. I was mostly trying to see how white MOP scales looked with the black anodized frame. If I buy some MOP to make a set of scales, I do plan on reusing the black screws.

I got mine. I like it, feel & fit is good. Tight fit with the micarta and the handles are grippy but the aluminum frame is more so. The blade
is sharp and was given more refinement. I would say taken up to 4-500 grit. It had a 1/2" burr on the right side near the tip and a little
stropping fixed this. Locks up tight with no movement and blade is centered for the OCD folks. It is much lighter than ole blue. I'm ready to put it to work on the
male Australorp and I'll give you more info. in a few minutes. DM

I have been looking for one of these. There is one on the bay right now but the micarta looks rather tatty and the box doesn't have the BUCK logo or BOTM stamped on it. Let me know if you have one in original condition that you would like to sell.
