But the blade steel on this one at that price is a bummer. S30V or even 5160 would’ve made it a “must buy”.
I do agree on the upgrade in the steel would have been nice.

I’m guilty of memory lapses myself lol. But that is a nice knife Makael setup. He can call that version the “Fire Hydrant “Ohhhh yea I forgot about those. My memory sucks.
I've heard that can happen with Stainless and Aluminum too. I guess that's why Buck put a coating on the AluminumI don't think you would want to put a carbon steel blade in an aluminum framed knife due to galvanic corrosion.
