That's ok, Randy left the hotel after me and beat me to the factory. It was so dark there, the gps couldnt even help, i missed the turn twice, so just drove around for 15-20 minutes. I had buddies in line tho. Also i was referring to that one specifically, that was gone by the time i got to the case.
Here are Jeff's knives. The 23 really stands out.It was my very first Rendezvous and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was great and it was so much fun being able to finally put faces together with names for all the folks I interact and do trades, etc. with in the groups. I was fortunate enough to get a rendezvous knife on day one and couple SFA’s in there as well between day one and two, ones that I personally really am happy about getting, as they’re the ones I was shooting for when I saw them. All the SFA’s were really nice and most were very unique. Not sure how to post pics of the ones I got though, but they were a 1 of 8 single blade 85 using the older 2016 blade with the matchstrike long pull on the newer Dead Skunk Acrylic Caplifter bottle shield frame, a 1 of 5 Smooth White Bone TC Barlow 15 and a marked 1 of 6 (but believe from what they said is a 1 of 1) 23 single blade beavertail in jigged bone and northfield trim without a liner lock.
Thanks! I just searched the forum to find out how to be able to upload pics and was about to do that now that I downloaded imgurHere are Jeff's knives. The 23 really stands out.

Here is a pic of it. I was really quite happy with this one as all the negativity around the Dead Skunk from the caplifter original release, it’s absolutely gorgeous with tons of depth that just don’t show in the pics to be perfectly honest. Love that they used the 2016 NF blade to set it apart too!A fellow picked up a Dead Skunk Acrylic #85 SFA, where the caplifter was deleted. Pretty neat.![]()
I almost missed it. I too went back to my hotel to catch a nap but ended up waking up well after the start time for the picnic. Showed up to the spot at about 6:30 and still was able to enjoy sitting around talking with everyone for a couple hours.Unfortunately I missed it having left the factory for an attempt for some precious sleep. Those beds at the resort have not improved Im afraid. I woke up in time but hesitated on attempting the drive to Mystic by myself and didnt check with Steve or Travis if they were still at the resort.
I hate it when it's too dark for the GPS to work...It was so dark there, the gps couldnt even help.
Well if you are using your phone gps, there are parts up there were there is no service. So in a way he is correct.I hate it when it's too dark for the GPS to work...![]()

It is good sir. Finally figuring out how to use BF!Is that you Jeff?
Wow! That one is special. Nice score! I would love to have a single blade 23 with no liner lock. I love my two blade 23's, but the weight of a single blade would be great. This 23 is quite literally everything I could have ever wanted in one. The pull is amazing and not at all a nail breaker but still stout enough. The jigging, color and shield are perfect and the fact that they did not put the liner lock just make it everything I could have wanted and more!![]()
Agreed. Had several of the single bladed liner locks from the 2020 run as many of my first GEC’s but all were too much of a bear to open generally speaking. This one though is just right. Felt like Goldilocks finding it!Wow! That one is special. Nice score! I would love to have a single blade 23 with no liner lock.
