Junglas BackPack

I also found a use for the Junglas Knife now. It looks really cool all MOLL'd up to the side fo the Junglas Pack.

I wish companies like Arc'Teryx and Gregory would put Molle straps on their expedition packs. I do a lot of extended trips into the mountains where I'm up there for a week or sometimes longer so I try to be efficient with the weight and the space I use in my pack. It would be nice to be able to strap my Junglas or 5 to the outside using Molle webbing.

I'm gonna have to get one of these ESEE packs for the over-nighters and day hikes. They look to be perfect size and I love all the features.

ESEE = Class Act

I like the pack like it is ....need more Izula gear/pouches to go with it though

I hope the American made ESEE Pack Kits will be 100% the same as the Colombian ones.
The only differnce would be the "Made in ___" tags.

:foot:

Sorry for my bitching.

Now that i look at the junglas pack a little more, i think it wold make a great day/2 day pack for me. I bet it looks badass all covered in dirt and stained up.

How much stuff do you carry on an overnight or day trip? Damn, this pack size serves me well for 2 weeks in a jungle!

Blow up dolls use to be very compactable. I guess things have changed a lot in that idustry. :D

Man, you guys must tote the kitchen sink on anything over 2 days!

Forget the blow up dolls, chloroform packs much more compactly.

4 hrs or 4 days, I pack about the same amount of stuff. :D

that's because you have mike to spoon with for warmth :D the rest of us need to carry a ground pad, tarp and sleeping bag.

If we're designing a pack by committee, I'd like to see a back panel that allows for good airflow. My Camelbak and 5.11 packs have "pods" for lack of a better word, that allow for good cushioning and allow decent air flow.

I hear that, I carry a EDC battery powered pocket (never mind)

I can make 2 days in my Falcon II.....

The nicorette worked for me .what's that obnoxiously large blade attached to pack.there for added wieght?

I'll second this.... i'd like to add that some kind of an internal frame or at least stiff back panel would be great in case you have the pack loaded loaded down and stuffed full to help it keep its shape and be much more comfortable.

Nice too hear someone from ESEE bragging about their own product, especially the Junglas after the "almost" bashing it got from Mike, never did get that??? Anyway, the Junglas ROCKS!! there's just nothing more to say about it than that.

All I said is it looks cool. Haven't used it yet :D

I like the pack, and the awesome job a forum member did on a pouch for a saw, made me think there should be a more covert way to carry gear that didn't make one look like a mark.

A removable rain cover (whose secondary purpose could be to be a solar still), or reversible side panels when you don't want the Molle to show.

I'll third this, although I don't care about an internal frame..the pack is pretty rigid as is..and I've got a folded up tarp in the back.

But having the inside of the straps and back in something like what is on the Becker Patrol packs (Coolmax I think the name is) I have would be nice instead of the Cordura.

I've got a 30" waist...so I'll also join in on the "smaller waistbelt" list.
