  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I think the design has potential, but start with a longer chainpuri style handle that you can really use, without grroves, clean up the cho, get rid of that rise at the end of the blade, and pay a bit more attention to detail. Those tooling marks are just not acceptable, Norm

Norm, you know those tooling marks are mine, right?

If you are going to have a chainpuri style handle, you are going to have to make it thicker than some of the extra slender ones I've seen. This brute has to have something to hold onto.

I like the hognose on it. Thats cool as hell. Like I said, continue the line with the rear of the knife rather than the front of the blade. This would create an integral guard. The handle needs to be redesigned, no question, but that and minor changes to the blade design and I'm buying. Many knives have come from a sharpened piece of steel and just stuck. The bolos I've seen aren't much different than that. Plus that hog nose sets it off. Its like, "I'm ugly, so what?"

Many of us have said to ourselves over the years; "I'm ugly; so what?"

There's one more. Yangdu has it. I thought she'd offer it for sale at a discount today but probably tomorow instead. I like mine.
