Great picture of an old knife! Which Company built this?
I like the look of the old jigging marks on the handle.

I am not certain who made the knife for Shapleigh Hardware Company, nifebrite. A number of manufactures made knives for them. I'd sure like to hear some opinions:D Sorry I could not help more.

Edit... Norvell-Shapleigh changed their name to Shapleigh Hardware Co. around 1917. Check out some of the links for more in depth history:thumbup: If you have any more question I would be happy to try and help:D

I have been spared, although the ground is saturated with more rain in the forecast. Many were not so lucky in Texas. Houston is getting hit bad. It's sunny right and 82. The creeks are running strong. The garden is blasting off:D

I got the old lobster for my Dads new girl friend. She has been so great for him. Thinking about how to frame it now.

I am new to the lobsters and I really like this piece. It is hard to imagine how these old things survive all these years, isn't it. Thank you kindly, A.L.
