Just A Picture - Traditional Picture Show

My Dad used to tell me how his Grandfather would "temper" a pocket knife's blade by sticking it in a biscuit. He obviously meant it developed a patina from the oils. These pics reminded me of that story. Thank you. And it looks like the blade is picking up a subtle patina. Nice knife.

Gev - That is sweet!!! I was thinking yesterday in the Totin' thread what the mark side of this beauty looked like. I wasn't smart enough
to look in this thread. ;) The only think is now I am dizzy headed from watching the flipper!:eek::eek::D

LOL...it makes me dizzy too! I saw someones else try the imgflip and had to give it a try. I set the flip time all the way down and wish you could set it slower and make the pics bigger. It's kinda cool anyway and I have a few more ideas to play with. Thanks for the compliment, my friend! Character cracks and all..

I am so glad its me
And with open eyes I see
Every line in your face
And every line is mine to trace

The mighty mini copperhead swims as fast and hard as ever it can, hoping to escape the closing jaws of the oncoming trapper...

... spurred on by Lady Liberty, no less.

Robin: I love that "Lick Creek" at 3 o'clock. Go Lyle! The "Viper" at 2 o'clock is one of the better knives I've seen photographed.

Charlie knew I waslooking for an Ettrick and kindly offered to sell me one of the last Abletts, Thanks Charlie, it's a beauty.

Happy Sunday folks

Robin

Euro Roosters, a swedge grinders nightmare. Gifts from Lyle and Charlie, thanks fellers. :D Happy weekend folks.

Best regards

Robin

I took a walk in the woods today during my lunchbreak and found this nice moss covered rotted log. I thought it made the perfect background to put my knife on and take a photo.
