I just took my own advice and ballistol'd and blew out my CS4. Then remembered the Gerber multi-plier in my motorcycling bag, and did that one too. Incidentally, the Gerber I have is black stainless. Looks rather cool.
 
Just ordered an Eureka SpitfireII anyone have/had one??

also waiting for a couple lights Warrior twisted my arm into buying :D should be here today...

one step closer to the poor house and another step closer to my wife finding out :p
 
Do they have anything comparable to a 4Sevens Quark Mini 123? That's my EDC and I'd like a backup in a similiar size that uses CR123 batteries. I also like the twisty for EDC as there's less parts to break than a clicky and I use my light at least 2-3 times a day.
 
My new Inova X1 has a twisty AND a momentary 'clicky'. and takes a single regular AA, which is preferable for me.
 
oh yeah they have plenty to choose from in cr123, I stuck with AA for the simplicity as most everything I own is AA, so I have another reason to buy some more rechargeable batteries..

I've never had jetbeam and really I'm only familiar with Fenix so we'll see, the pa40 is suppose to be extremely comparable and almost mirrors the fenix ld40, many prefer the jetbeam so we'll see..

nonetheless I'm excited to see a light with 470lumens run on AA... :)
 
470 lumens? How many AAs is that running? I've been looking for something to edc in the 250-300 range.
 
yep wanted the 10 but they were gone probably right after he posted his thread !!! :)

I was so mad I was bound not to leave empty handed so I bought two..

that'll teach 'em... :D

ETA: :p thought you we're talking the ba10 he bought.. :p
