Somebody sent this to me tonight so I had to share it.
Three Kiwi soldiers (one female) were killed in Afghanistan by an IED in August. Their comrades-in-arms chose to do a Maori warrior funeral ritual as a sendoff. It is bizarre by Western standards, but I found it haunting. Give it a look see.

Just a shot in the dark here guys, but I was wondering if anyone has seen any eskabars with the new coating yet? I know they said they wouldn't hit shelves till the old ones were sold. I'm really regretting giving my old one away but I trying to hold out for a new coating one, thanks guys!

They didn't talk while signing, the deaf person signed, then it typed it into the phone and the phone spoke it later.
It is still pretty cool. The nice thing is, my job won't be made obsolete by them either!

Picked up the LM Wave before work, so far I like it a lot but I haven't gotten to really use it so we will see. If I decide I really like it I am going to order the set of bits and the extender that fit into it's carrying pouch. I like Warrior's addition of a ferro rod into the elastic loops on the side too. Should make a great addition to my EDC bag I am working on, pics of the whole shebang when everything comes together.
