Well, good day today. I stopped by Todd's for an hour or so, got the hardtop back on the Jeep, got the go ahead from the woman to return to 3rd shift! Also, Dad hooked me up with some equipment that could prove interesting and handy soon.

An old sander/grinder that still needs a motor.

Wow Murf. You hit the jackpot. You're going to have a blast with that forge. You can get outstanding metallurgical coal in Louisville by the way. Lucky rascal.
 
Nice score Murph. That old drill press is pretty cool.

Anyone here that has had Lasik surgery done? I'm seriously considering getting my right eye done and maybe my left. Guess I'm getting tired of broken glasses and contacts that don't get my right eye anywhere near clear.

I got it done around 6-7 years ago. I had an extra step in the procedure so there was an extra day of recovery but it was worth it. If you're tired of contacts and glasses, its feels incredible to not deal with them at all.
 
Morning all, gotta good day ahead of me, my yearly physical, piss test, hearing test, and blood work. All required by new appointment.

Also, around midday, I should be getting a Numyth fire piston to play with. Yay me.

Tomorrow, my Fallkniven F1 should arrive. Yay me.

Wife is being a bitch. Not so much yay me.

BK, I've been wearing glasses since I was 5 or 6, so yup I'm tired of them. Not worrying about glasses or contacts would be wonderful.
 
I had a great weekend in New Orleans. To finish it up right, I got in late last night to find a new wallet from Saddleback leather courtesy of Crewdawg! (Thanks a lot!)

Now I'm at work and nothing wants to work right.... It is a fitting "welcome back."

Hey Jerry. did you drive to New Orleans. cause if you did you passed right by the shop again on your way home.
 
I'm working on moving there since My fiancee lives there. I'm down in Harrison County for the time being.

Today's plan includes making beer. like the kind we get to share on a mountaintop in about a month. :) I have a much more streamlined plan this time.
