" just 'cause " VS practical utility needs

Everything about that build was custom. Customer loves it.

I always thought that carrying more "knife" than typically needed depended heavily on how much you expect to need that extra bit of knife. Same thing for carrying more knives at once.

I tend to “over carry” about 50% of the time if I’m being honest there are some days where I just carry my knife because it bring me joy throughout the day especially when I’m driving between calls.

Today is a prime example of some “over carry”.
Yes..I used my knife to cut the bag open rather than just pulling the seam apart..

....what I mean is how do you feel when you carry much more blade than you need just because you like said knife ?
It's in in part why it's a hobby. I like to keep my EDC blades pretty modest in size whether fixed or folding. I am not out to win any contests. I generally don't care for knives with sub 2.5" blades in general even though I know they will do 95% of everything I normally do with a knife on an average day. Things change as to what I like and who knows I might be carrying a larger fixed blade like you show in your opening post a year from now. They presently are for woods duty mostly.

I would've never carried this size before joining the BF's, but just like you said things change.
I have no need for larger blades like this, but the larger blades came along that I love so I started to carry them for that reason alone.
