Just curious which front pocket do you prefer to have your trad in?

Back-pocket for me.

I find it easier to grab.

I can't stand having things in my pockets, especially my front two.

Right handed. I used to keep it in my left but started carrying my phone in my left pocket. I don't want the phone to get damaged so the knife moved to the right pocket.

I usually carry my knife in my front left and my phone in my front right. I'm not really sure why, I'm right handed. I don't find it significantly easier or faster with a two handed folder in either pocket.

I'm only asking because I'm cross eye dominant sometimes. Write left handed, bat right handed, shoot a pistol left handed but a rifle right handed.

I find myself struggling to keep my edc slippie in the same pants pocket. By and large though I hold a kitchen knife with my left hand in most cases. But a pocket knife in my right hand. I keep the knife in my right pocket and usually try to grab at the nail nick using my left hand to open it, simultaneously slipping it into my right hand at the same time. What do you folks do? Or do you switch it around like me as well?

Me too, I shoot left, but write with my right.

My knife is usually in the right pocket but it also goes left pretty often :) When I stick my hand in the right pocket and it's gone, it's usually found in the left.

Maybe your Mom did to you like mine did to me. I was ambidextrous as a young child, but she was told to train me right handed since it is a right handed world and I could go left as I got older. I always wondered would I be ambi or left if I had not been trained to be right...however I am still "wrong" LOL :)

For me it's all about ease of grabbing the nail nick. I find it easier to pinch the blade with my right hand, have the knife swing open and then loop back into the right hand.

Right handed here, but my knife goes in left front pocket.
wallet in left rear or cargo, watch on left wrist.
My father is left handed.....
I carry a pocketknife in my back right pocket also...

I am left handed, right eye dominate. I usually carry two knives. First knife is in the left, it is usually a modern folder with pocket clip. Second knife in right is usually a traditional knife. I will carry a traditional knife in my left when I do not need a modern folder. Wallet and money in right and keys in left.

I am right handed, and for me it depends entirely on what I'm doing. When at work, I have no use for my keys, so they go in the left front and the knife in the right front. Most other times I carry the knife in the left front and the keys in the right front, because I use them more. When hunting from a stand, I usually have a sheath knife on my belt and carry my pocket knife (or knives!) in the chest pocket of my hunting shirt or jacket because it's easier to get at while sitting.

Right front pocket, right watch pocket, right slash pocket (carpenter pants and/or cargo pants) on right side in a belt sheath.
I'm right handed, and due to a physical "disability" (very limited movement in left wrist) I don't use the left pockets so much.
I generally EDC at least 5 traditional knives.

I'm kinda mixed up like the OP. Some things I do right and some lefty, I blame it on my mother. I was born a natural lefty and she trained me to do things right handed. I pocket my knife in the rfp, reach for it with my right and pull the blade with my left.

Since my pants all only have a coin or watch pocket on the right side my trad knife goes on the right.

There is always a traditional in my right shirt pocket, wallet in left. This way I can use a knife and pay at the drive through without unbuckling in my truck. As many traditionals as I have, its usually my Buck 307. I'm right handed, so sometimes the knife clipped to my right front pants pocket is also a traditional, often lately its been this one:

I have too much clutter in pants pockets to keep a knife in the bottom of them. Occasionally instead of my ST300 I carry a Buck 110 or a two blade "folding hunter" in a belt sheath.
