Yea I had the Benchmade Ritter design that I liked. Haven’t tried a Hogue yet but have read about themJust recieved a Hogue Deka, and have zero regrets!
That said, along with the deka, the Doug Ritter RSK is also high on my list, I'm just holding out until the larger version comes out with new scale options to fit my fancy.
The new Ritter's, exclusive to Knifeworks, are pretty much very similar to old BM Ritter specs, just made by Hogue now instead, and supposedly made with upgraded springs. Plus a portion of every purchase goes towards KnifeRights...Yea I had the Benchmade Ritter design that I liked. Haven’t tried a Hogue yet but have read about them
Yea the mini RSK is going to be on the list. THANKSThe new Ritter's, exclusive to Knifeworks, are pretty much very similar to old BM Ritter specs, just made by Hogue now instead, and supposedly made with upgraded springs. Plus a portion of every purchase goes towards KnifeRights...
The mini's have a couple different scale options, and can definitely fit your lower size preference. I personally prefer the larger end, and if/when the large becomes available in the same red pattern as the mini's, (or some other pattern that catches my eye other then the plain solid colors), I'll be all over it.
Haha it doesn’t but I’ll buy a small 31 eventually..".The OP says he wants to spend $150 and you suggest a Rockstead"
How does the CRK large Inkosi fit his parameters?

Yea I actually have that one on my watch list on the bay. It’s a different locking mechanism placement then what I’m use to but do like that knifeOne that comes to mind is the Spyderco Chaparral. Blade is just under 3", good steel, and it comes with some nice handle materials for under $150.
FunnyStandard Shirogorov f3 in micarta.
I just re-read the price cap and edited.Funny
No worriesI just re-read the price cap and edited.
Those are both nice. ThanksA little outside your listed range but the Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2 and Maxamet Sage 1 are currently some of my favorites. Also the Benchmade Bugout is a good light carry. I think others may agree that the $150 range falls in a peculiar category where you can go up some and have amazing options or go below and have some good "budget" options.
Hope you find what you are after.
I always like the Manix, just never owned it. ThxFor knives under $150 , I’d go with :
-Spyderco Yojimbo2 (it’s actually $156)
-Spyderco Manix2
-I like having a SAK in the mix too (most are under $150. Many great ones for under $50).
Do your research. That’s half the fun![]()
Thanks but the Endura doesn’t meet what I’m looking for. Don’t like FRN handles and the blade is too longManix 2 and / or endura.
