At 19.95 plus shipping how could I resist!
I went with the G10 PE version. I was considering the Endura 4 but this knife was less than half the price. I guess time will tell if the old saying is true...you get what you pay for.

Regards,
Gary

I have been very happy with the performance of mine. It takes a nice edge with little effort and locks up rock solid. It is hard to think of a better bargain in the knife world if you are looking for a robust, good performing folder in the $20 range.

I do have some guilt..... :(

With the Cara Cara G-10, you are definitely getting more than what you pay for. I was a little skeptical when I first picked mine up too, but it has yet to let me down. Knife sharpens quickly, locks up very solid, and you can beat the crap out of it without a second thought, the thing costs only twenty bucks.

i bought one too out of curiosity. i really dont have any complaints. its a big hefty knife for a very low price.

i also have the g10 robin which i like better. the g10 robin is small, but the blade shape is cool. its like a tiny spade/spear almost.

I like it more than a lot of Spyderco's 100$+ US offerings. Just a very solid, ergonomic design. The grip is secure and fits my hand very well, and the choil lends itself to a variety of positions that let you use the tip in ways other larger knives don't offer. The only thing I didn't like about it was it didn't cut very well compared to say, an Opinel or SAK, so I ground it flat to the stone. Now I have a nice large, robust tactical style knife that cuts more like a traditional, thin-bladed knife.

At 20$ I suggest everyone who has one of these to try what I did. No microbevel or anything, just take it flat to the hollow ground section and see cutting performance increase dramatically. Gives it more of a Flat Saber grind too, which I prefer to hollow myself.

Quality knife though. I could pay 3x the price I did and still feel like I got an exceptional deal.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I had earlier bought a Benchmade Mini-Grip which as it turns out is really too small for my hand. I doubt I'll be having that problem with the Cara Cara.....

I'll just have to take down my poster of this man (for those old enough to remember)

Shecky,

You are correct.....but...what character did he play that would be connected in some way to Jack Lord? God I must be getting old! :(

Wo Fat. I know this completely by coincidence. A local station played a Hawaii Five 0 rerun about a week ago with Khigh Dhiegh as Wo Fat. I rarely watch the reruns, and the show itself was a bit before my time.

It was a pretty outlandish story, BTW, that seemed to borrow quite a bit from The Manchurian Candidate.

<applause>.... well done! But guess who also played in the Manchurian Canidate as the evil Dr. Lo? That's right..... Here is a picture of him from that 1962 classic!
