Just pix of knives

I know, I know. An "axe" isn't a "knife". But, I'm at the house this morning, with a few more tools than those in my usual "truck box" at the Ranch...and trying to get the grill going for some chorizo con huevo tacos (*That's "chorizo & egg" for us Rednexicans) for my puppy-dog and I. (*Try to focus on the TOPS B.E.S.T. knife)

A little TOPS 1075 and 5160 "big chunk o' wood" destruction action...

I was sharpening and cleaning up this LT Wright Frontier Valley last night. This one I got back in early May and have used it daily since then. I ended up buying a second one to put up, I really like the knife. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good smaller fixed blade. I initially intended to use this as a dressier knife but decided to just beat the hell out of it and see what happens. It’s been used in the kitchen, box and mail opening, whittling, prying, beat into wood, fish cleaning, dropped, thrown, you name it. It’s A2 steel and not had the first drop of oil or anything to protect it since it arrived. I live in coastal South Carolina within walking distance to the beach and had this knife in my sweaty nasty pocket for hours on end. I’m impressed with its aversion to rust and I really like the patina that is forming. Anyway, great knife for $70 some odd dollars. In this price range it’s a hard knife to beat.
