about some of the vibrant colors on RH knives, I bought a blue scale and parts kit from a member here on the forum. In the meantime I decided I would replace the orange with OD green for practice since I've never disassembled a Hinderer. Definitely not vibrant

It's my favorite..."Burlap Micarta". Some Manufacturers refer to it as "Tan Burlap Micarta" and others as "Brown Burlap Micarta".
I have a Barky "Q" knife in it, and it's probably one of my favorite and most beautiful fixies.

You're welcome. I think you'll really like it. Like I posted, it's my favorite pattern. (*When you mentioned the slipjoint, my mind went straight to a Barlow for some reason)
