Just pix of knives

Nice knife. What is that? Also nice to see you back around the forums after quite a layoff.

Remember this one?

Hi,
It's a Direware H-92, a slimmed down version of the hyper 90.
Yes I'm back and have the bug bad again!
I do remember that one well. Want to sell it back to me?

I bought that from @Mtneer who bought it from you. It was my first Shiro and is a particular favorite. I've got several now as the Python served to burst the dam. Sorry, but I can't imagine parting with it. It somehow developed some nasty lockstick after about a year and I put a lot of work into correcting it. It's perfect now and smoother than ever. Makes me love it even more. :)

I can certainly understand you not wanting to part with it, wish I never had. I'm looking for something new to add to my collection and may go with another Direware, a Shiro or a Rassenti.

Thanks! I should have taken a pic of it with a black blade before selling mine. But i liked how it turned out being a satin blade with the cerakoted hardware a little better.

Here's that Strider again. I had a little time to fool around with it after I got home from a day of pre-op hospital and Dr's appointments. I got a more refined and even edge on it for one.

I don't know how long it had sat unused, as the previous owner had only carried and handled it once, but it had a lot of stiff, gummy, yellowish grease in it and the action was smooth, but wicked slow. I don't have a tool together to get it open yet to clean it out, so I short-cut and added a bit too much W5 Nano-Oil in it to loosen it up a bit. Of course it got on the lock-bar/ramp interface and it took me a while to get rid of the lock-stick monster I created, although it's loosened up nicely now. Once I get my pivot tool together I'll get it broken down, cleaned, and re-lubed properly.

similar blade but everything else is quite the opposite ....0.145 inch thick Elmax 61,5HRC... 0,007 inch behind edge
considerable slicer ;)

I've handled the auto version by PT before and was surprised how well I liked it in hand...looking at it I thought there was no way it would be nice but I was pleasantly surprised.
