KA-BAR Chat thread - Come on in the house

Found some KA-BAR content. I have a sucky, long commute. I am sick of my own playlists and music services, so I've now migrated towards Audio Books to help pass the time.
Matterhorn, a book about Vietnam by Karl Marlantes has a ton of KA-BAR references and content. It's a pretty good read / listen as well. Only about half way done but the knives have already been used for digging, clearing brush, cleaning finger nails, opening ammo containers and MREs. In one case, a KA-BAR was used to settle an argument between 2 squad members.

Things always quiet down after the Possum Festival. It takes a toll.

I have a serious question for teh modz. The thread about the new Ka-Bar fan group says that you must own a Ka-Bar, but it doesn't say if it can be a model of a design series, i.e, Becker, TDI, and Johnson Adventure. So do those count?

Anything made by Ka-Bar. If it says Ka-Bar / Olean, it's good to go.
