Rogue Sriracha stout -- pretty decent creamy stout goodness, with a bit of bite and a slow, lingering, mild burn at the back of the tongue.

That's pretty damn cool man. I love hot sauce so I'm gonna have to give that one a shot.

Lol Hey, I did offer to pay shipping :p

Cool contest. :D

I know you did, and the offer was much appreciated.
It wasn't part of the contest rules though, so it was on me. I just skipped lunch for a week and half. Really, it's okay. :D

This one's in Kish, Iran. You get a Ka-Bar next to it, and I'll even throw in a KaBarley bottle opener. :p

Please don't chat in the contest thread as per contest rules. Also, note that BFC does have an infraction called "Failure to Follow Forum Specific Rules."

Big anchors eh?

Can't I just take a picture of my wife..... SNARK!

Seriously kidding... cause she's awesome... but ya know what I mean :D

An anchor is not the same thing as a ball and chain!

While true... they both stop you from doing many fun things, keep you in your place, and generally halt certain kinds of movement :D

Google fu sais there is a landmark anchor about an hour and change away from me. But I don't believe it to be of epic proportion. Maybe a road trip if the kids get unloaded on me one day.

A non-knife related question. I'm toying with buying a bigger t.v. for the living room - but I'm cheap. Our current one is 720p, and I'm wondering how much better 1080p really is than 720p. Is it really worth the extra $$$$$?

Edit: Would you take a smaller size t.v. in order to get the higher resolution? (Trying to keep costs down here.)

I would say it all depends on how much you watch TV and the size of the room you watch it in / how far away you sit. If you find yourself watching movies alot, and you have HD cable; then you will want the better quality higher resolution. Why skimp out on the TV why you are paying for the services? If you JUST watch basic cable and rarely watch movies I'd go for the lower resolution as it doesn't make too much of a difference.

And it does make a difference :D regular TV at 720p feels like watching TV. HD channels on 1080p feels like you are looking through a window.

A really crappy photo of my current set-up

I can't get the pic to work.

I like the looking through a window vs watching t.v. distinction. That might be enough to make me let go of some cash.

My sister and brother in law have one of those Ultra HD 4K set ups. It's CRAZY sharp. And also way out of my price range.

Kabar sighting. I believe it's a 1245 Tanto. Could be wrong. It's in the movie John Wick.. sorry about the crappy pic..
