Very Nice... Got a Toot on what exactly ya did...?

I stripped the finish with Dad's Easy Spray stripper. I wrapped the handle tightly in a sock so it wouldn't get damaged. For the guard and pommel, I applied the stripper with a Q-Tip. I dyed the handle with Fiebings (regular) Leather Dye - Dark Brown. I applied one coat, let it absorb, and then held the handle under very hot running water to remove the excess dye and to also harden the leather a bit. I then dried the handle with a hair dryer. This Ka-Bar was originally a display model at the Cutco/Ka-Bar Visitor's Center in Olean, NY.
