i am reminded that while camping in early July, there was a log/root thing blocking our main sitting and cooking area. nobody could dislodge it. i went into one of my bags randomly and produced a Potbelly, and made the root no more. three or four good solid chops and it was severed, tossed into the bracken, and made hence. blade was wiped clean with a moist cloth, dried, sheathed and back in a the bag quite literally before anyone could react. AWESOME !!! !!! :) later, some less timid people asked to see it and play some. education abounds. the others, stupid pacifist vegan hippies (little to no offense meant ;>) were still shocked at the speed and sheer violence of primal nature they had seen ;)

hee hee hee
Hey now, I am vegan, lol. Not for political reasons, but health ones. I still rock leather seats, coats, and grill steaks ribs etc for family functions. Also, if the crap hit the fan, and fresh, whole plant based foods were in short supply, I would have no hang ups on bagging a buck or big horn sheep for supper. That being said, I am not a fan of soy-it is a farce, and not a super food. Just a bunch of snake oil.

My grandpa gave this to me in 1978 when I was 9. I remember standing next to him while he engraved my name on the butt and the sheath. I remember throwing it at stumps when I was a kid. It's one that I will always keep.
