Thank you. The kydex fits like a glove on both, and the thumb ramp/ release works like charm. Nice, soiid CLICK when you put them back in, too. The Big Brother is like the BK-9's slimmer, more agile fighter brother from another mother

I'm not tradewater, but that knife is the Ka-Bar Mark one. It just came out a year or so ago. Ka-Bar also makes a leather handled version.

Contact Eric at contactus@mashedcat.com. You may have to send your knife in, I ordered my knife online and had it sent directly to him.

I may end up getting another Big Brother but with stacked leather, so contact me if you do not want to send your knife in. I can send him my knife, have him make 2, and send one sheath to me and one to you.

Hello Qeth,
Finally heard back form Mashed Cat. The answer is that I would have to send my knife in. I see that the specs for the kraton Big Brother and the leather handle BB are slightly different, so I couldn't tag on to your order.
I live in B.C. and I'm not thrilled about having to ship my knife across the border so I'll probably go with a local kydexbender.

I like kydex sheaths because they allow me to carry a knife discretely ,in a deep front pocket with a G-clip or, alternately, with a shoulder harness. I am quite impressed however ,with the quality of the leather sheath that came with my kraton Big Brother. If I was hiking in an area where the sight of a big knife on my belt didn't freak anyone out, I'd be happy to use that sheath.
