There ya go, making a "no kidding" good point again! Now, why didn't I know that? Well, HMMMMM, I guess I did! But that is common sense isn't it?
See, when I compare the lack of logic that Hollow Dweller was demonstrating.... and then compare it to what is wrong with the media... the point is... they both have a similar problem... and that is, no common sense and they both lack the ability to observe the obvious! But I guess you missed that somehow.
MY QUOTE: This gross misinterpretation is part of what is wrong with our media! You choose to twist and turn with the best of them! Remember, the truth shall set you free! You change the facts and then dub in some warped view of reality, based solely on your own illusion and imagination, based on what never even happened!
Seeeee, what HD was doing is what the media does... and with all of your intelligence, your inclination to make my post wrong, gets in the way of your objectivity. But, no sweat, that's just you isn't it?

Maybe the last is just rinning scared from the media, but it's out there -- an assumption of responsibility to some extent. - Thomas Linton
***************************************
GWB may have been running scared and carefully admitting nothing by stating they could have done better.... whatever that means. Anybody, anywhere can always do better, whatever that means! "WHO KNOWS" what it means? Maybe some sort of appeasment?
QUOTE: Sorry to disappoint your fantasy..... but, no matter how you twist it, the mayor of NO is the only one that failed to mobilize several hundred school buses to evacuate the poor people. It had nothing to do with GWB or his administration. That is not his job, contrary to your illusion! Here again, I'm making a point!
The point is, that whatever little bit GWB had to do with response.... the lionshare of the problem was created by the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor's slow response to the disaster and the failure to call out the National Guard in a timely manner.
These slow response failures had nothing to do with George W. Bush!

I merely stated facts. To say that the Mayor is the only one who screwed up as regards trasnportation for those without is factually incorrect. The area effected -- even in La. -- includes municipalities outside NOLA. The state supposedly had a plan to evacuate the entire area -- and did no better at it than "His Honor."
To say that GHWB has stated that the feds response was inadequate in some unspecified way is simply correct. We all heard him say the magic words.
I did not say -- did I? -- that GHWB either was responsible, or took responsibility for, pre-strom evacuation.
