Keep it Alive in 2025

Probably not practical, but it would be pretty cool to get individual cutlers like Eric, Cosimo, etc. to collaborate on a forum knife.

I turned 5 in 1969...in England...so yes I have memories of the 60s. Don't remember there being much pot around though.
( other than the one for toilet training)...
At the end of high school some 12 years later...pot became a ritual...a rite of passage for wild colonial boys...So even if you don't remember "the 60s"...there's the late 70s,..pretty much all of the 80s..although most of us would prefer to forget the 80s altogether...the 90s,Naughties and mostly up to a couple of years ago....
So No..we don't want to make a hash of it with potleaves.🤔

Hemp

Our hemp is sold stabilized. This product is a composite of hemp fiber and whether dyed or not, hemp composites stabilize easily and yield a variety of patterns from a fibrous wood grain to a random wood chip style. Hemp also finishes easily, sanding and buffing to a lovely sheen with little effort.

Hmm, I was more thinking along the lines of a woven material made of Hemp and set it resin? Picture Burlap or even Linen, I’m not sure how fine the yarns would be??

Agreed, but it'd be hemp. Like how my amp goes up to 11 :cool:
P*sstaking aside, I have seen both finer linen-esque hemp shirts and also heavier canvas like workwear but when all said and done it would look damn near exactly the same as the already available micarta's out there.. some folks just like that extra bragging rights, right?
