Keep it Alive in 2025

Agreed, but it'd be hemp. Like how my amp goes up to 11
P*sstaking aside, I have seen both finer linen-esque hemp shirts and also heavier canvas like workwear but when all said and done it would look damn near exactly the same as the already available micarta's out there.. some folks just like that extra bragging rights, right?

I have a hempen Hawaiin shirt that my sis gave me for my 22nd birthday....at 60 now and it is still going strong...I can't say the same for any cotton garments.
Go Hemp...now what colour?😆

The varieties of hemp used for cloth have very low THC content. Hemp is a very good crop for fiber, requiring less water and pesticides than cotton. It also grows much faster, producing more fiber than cotton. By all reports it makes durable clothing. The only reason I have never purchased hemp clothing is the price. It seems that the sellers are targeting wealthy hippies and have priced their products out of my reach.

Very true, not everyone can afford to do “the right” thing 🙏

I remember hearing the old timers say that marijuana smelled like burning rope, and thought, "Like burning plastic? Eww!"

I can tell you right now that it's a
Hemp Flibbing Knife#...mainly used for "flibbing the hemp" the process by which the hemp is poked and ferreted through to remove hemp toads or "stalkies" as the varmints were known...The Flibber would stab them and impale them on a hemp stalk. The toad skins were a very valuable by product fetching a good Flibber up to 5 cents a month extra in his pay...

#Not true.

That's an excellent news reel...I love those..Thank you r8shell r8shell ...the hemp parachute though? He seems to be plummeting to Earth at an alarming speed....possibly terminal velocity and no apparent ability to steer the thing.
