Ken Coats Slipjoints

Received a new Easy Open that Ken made for me. As usual, the work was top notch. Knife has ATS34 blades and is around 3 3/4" closed. Jigged bone scales. Very sharp, and that small wharnie is like a scalpel.

Thanks Ken!

And the better pic that Mr. Coats sent me -

One I just finished up today. I love green bone just don't do much of it. Ats-34,
4 1/8" closed. Comments welcome.
Ken.

You can see the color much better in the inset picture. Love that green bone.

Beautiful work (as always)!

Finished this one up this morning, Ats-34, 1/8" stock. Cocobolo scales.
3 7/8" closed. Comments welcome. NFS Ken.

This one is mine, and I don't think I could be happier with it. Knocked it out of the park, Ken!

Finished this one up today. 3 3/8" clip, my "sawcut bone", ext spring, long pull, machine satin finish.
Ats 34 blades and springs. Master @.092, secondary .072. Comments welcome.
Take a look. NFS Ken.

^^She looks great Ken, Can't wait to get her!!

I really dig that you make and use your own dyed, jigged and sawcut bone. It looks great.

This beauty is going right into my backpocket :)

Thought I'd put a pic of this one up simply cause its such a big swayback. This one measures 4 5/8" closed,
blade length from bolster to tip 3 3/4". The blade and spring in the pic are from a "normal" 3 7/8" swayback.
Ats-34, hollow ground, burl oak. Comments welcome, Thanks for the look. NFS. Ken.

Here's another one with Burl Oak (pretty intense grain on this one. 3 7/8" closed,
hollow ground, hand finish. Comments welcome. NFS Ken.

Nice work Ken! Lots of belly on that blade and the handle looks like it would provide a comfortable grip. Great looking Burl too.
