Ken Coats Slipjoints

Finished this one up this morning, guess its been a couple of years since I made this pattern.
4 7/8" Hollow ground, pinned sheild, cut swedge, my dyed and jigged bone. Comments welcome
N.F.S. Ken.

Very nice and sleek looking, especially for such a large pattern. Love that bone, too.

This one will be going out tommorow, cpm-154 steel, cut swedge, 416 ss frame, and burl oak
(stabilized) covers. Comments welcome. NFS Ken.

Beautiful work, Ken!

Is CPM-154 a new venture for you? I'm used to seeing ATS-34 or 154CM on your knives.

Its not really a new venture, its just that 3/32" Ats is tougher to get lately. I'm actually happy with both, the
steel is very nearly the same, heat treat and all. There was less cleanup on the ats-34 but since everything I
make gets surface ground its not a big deal.
Ken.

One I finished up this morning, 4 3/4" closed, stabilized oak burl, cpm154. Should be going out
tommorow. NFS Comments welcome. Ken.

Fantastic knife, Ken! The handle swell is interesting and that wood is gorgeous:thumbup::thumbup:

This one is my first use of CF, while most of my knives are natural handle material I do like the look
of it. 5" Grandaddy barlow, CPM 154, comments welcome. NFS.
