KEN ERICKSON 1000+ posts giveaway

Alright, what a great giveaway! I went flounder gigging last night and took my new opinel but didn't get to use it. Here is a picture of me with the opinel. This was just west of Nassau Sound, FL.

I'll have to split it up between 2 pics as one shows me and one shows what I was carrying hunting this fall:

OK so I guess I only took pics of my brother, hopefully him and I combined will be good enough (I promise that I am carrying a slip joint)

The knife is a damascus Case that I carry when I want to dress up an occasion like hunting or school.
I really appreciate the chance at this knife, it looks great! Thank you.

(P.S. IF these don't qualify me I'll run outside and get a newer picture.)
Or if it counts my son with a slip joint (new Schatt and Morgan stockman):

Thanks for the chance!

Beautiful knife Ken, with my current financial status, this will probably be the only way I'll get one of your gorgeous knives.

Here ya see me in the front yard with my Northwoods BFC 2008 Tradititionals Forum knife, it's a Medium Stockman and I used it to cut up that 18 inch in diameter oak ya see in the background. ;) just kiddin' but I do use it everyday. :)

Thanks for the chance to win.

I finally remembered to take a camera out with me. I'm standing on the old county road that used to bisect my grandfather's ranch. Now's there's a farm to market road, which is progress, I guess.

Getting some new nylon rope put on my 1975 Grumman 17' square stern canoe today. Turkey season opens in Missouri Monday, so it is time to chase some longbeards, smallmouth and goggle-eye. Using my Gayle Bradley trapper.

Congrats on 1,000 posts, Ken. And, thanks for the opportunity on one of your great folders.

Ken, what a generous giveaway!
Of course I'd like to participate so here I am holding one of the first knives that started my interest in knives. It's a 1971 Puma Stock-Knife with what you would call 'European Bone'. I hope that counts

Ken, thanks for the opportunity to enter this giveaway. I hope I haven't annoyed anyone while I made sure I had my 75 posts. I usually try not to natter on in the forums but ...I digress.

I'll edit this to include the requisite photo as soon as my wife emails it to me.

She snuck me a mocha at work and I happened to have a cover shirt in the truck so had her snap a quick photo of me with my Schrade USA 1080T (or is that 108 OT?). Its a three bladed stockman that one source calls a "Junior". I think I wore out a "Senior" while working at a carpet store in high school but I've carried this little life saver for at least 25 years now.

James, Its nice to see you after chatting on the phone in the past!

canineforge,
Joe, good luck on the turkey hunting. It was one my favorite times of the year when I had my Gun shop in Missouri.

Picture is fine! Nice back drop.

I wanted to give my sincere thanks for everyone that took the time to post in this thread:thumbup: I realize that it was difficult to post self-pictures for a few folks and for those folks a big  I feel that I know many of you better now.

I regret that I have but one knife to give to my forum. (paraphrasing a great American, Nathan Hale, I could not resist;).)

Using a random number generator at www.mathgoodies.com I came up with post number 44.

Thanks again for everyone making this place like a second home for me!
