KEN ERICKSON 1000+ posts giveaway

Dang, missed by 1, congrats to puukkoman on scorin' a beatiful knife and thanks Ken for the great give away, (by 1, I missed it by 1.:()

Ken I have been playing around here for some time now and do not have the required post count but I have to throw in this picture. My wife gave birth to this guy about 6 months ago and we (just me really) have a blast catching pics of him grabbing my pocket knives. He just couldn't decide between CV and SS so he told me the other day he wanted a GEC so there goes the change jar. (Dang I need to read better but would have posted anyway... Congrats Pukko)

This is the advantage of doing the giveaway, I do not have to play by the rules!

I will try and take a picture of myself tomorrow with the knife before boxing it up.

Congrats Puukkoman!

Ken, thanks for the chance, and for gettin' some of us to post our mugs - nice to connect a name with a face!

Here's hopin' summer lasts for a whole weekend for ya this year in Wisconsin! :D

That a boy, good sport! :) :D

Thanx again for all the great fun in this  thread!

Congrats Puukkoman. You are very lucky to win a fine looking knife like that. Thanks for the chance for the giveaway Ken.

Thanks for the contest again Ken. So close, but still so far.

Congrats puukkoman, you lucky dog! You must be the luckiest giveaway winner in Bladeforums history.

It was nice to put some faces to your guys' names.

Congrats to Pukko! I am jealous and envious.:foot::D

I want to mention to all, as a winner of other give aways, and one who has also given away knives on this forum....... Where else can you go but Blade Forums with a less than 60 to 1 odds (very good odds) for winning a high quality custom slipjoint? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler? Ferris Buehler? I do not want to even stab at it's retail value. Blade Forums is the best!:cool: CJ wipes a sentimental folksy tear from his eye.:o You can give me back my man card in a few days.:o Right now, I am way too emotional. ;)

I wanted to give my sincere thanks for everyone that took the time to post in this thread:thumbup: I realize that it was difficult to post self-pictures for a few folks and for those folks a big  I feel that I know many of you better now.

I regret that I have but one knife to give to my forum. (paraphrasing a great American, Nathan Hale, I could not resist;).)

Using a random number generator at www.mathgoodies.com I came up with post number 44.

Thanks again for everyone making this place like a second home for me!

Congratulations puukoman! Great contest Ken.

YEP, Thanks Ken. the anticipation of maybe winning was fun in itself. and neat to see mug shots of "the guys" and to show off my little kid and dog.
and a note to Hak: you look like your baby !
good to see another pa who shares his knife passion with babies. my daughter Isabella, now 4, has a collection of about 30 knives of her own. when people say "don't you think she's a little young for that ?", i tell em "no way; and besides she has 3 1/2 years of experience". which is true and it shuts em up.

Congratulations, puukkoman! And many thanks to Ken for such a great giveaway-contest! :)

My first giveaway-contest made me become a gold member and the second pushed my posts over the mark of 75...
Although, if English is not your native language I thought they might count double :D

This forum is great

Thanks,
Peter
