I feel lucky just to be able to see a picture of the Tennessee Jack.

I suspect we will be seeing more of these soon.
Great Job guys!!

I've already told this to Kerry today, but I think this is going to be my favorite knife out of everything I own. I think Kerry and I started talking about the pattern last december and there was some back and forth about what the knife would feel like in the hand with one blade open and the other closed (e.g., how far the closed blade would protrude in your grip). After some back and forth, we agreed it wouldn't be any worse than any other 2 blade knife and then it was up to Kerry to make it happen. Kerry is good with that in my experience...he takes your thoughts and ideas and brings them to life in a near-perfect manner. I really like what he did with the secondary wharncliffe. It is EXACTLY what I envisioned. We talked about doing a rattail bolster and then after he finished he told me that he didn't do it. We were on the same page...because after we agreed on doing the cap I meant to call him back and tell him not to flute the bolster...but I forgot to tell him. I think it looks much cleaner with the smooth bolster. I had several pieces of stag that I thought might look nice and sent them to KH and told him to choose what worked best. I think he picked a dandy IMO. The double shield is just something I do on all my customs now...I like shields, so why not have one on both sides. :) The cap is practical for me because this is going to be a hard user and I'm pretty clumsy with my knives (e.g., dropping the Erickson 5 blade the day I got it and having to send it back for f&b). It will keep that nice stag from cracking and getting knocked around when I drop it (and I will).

So congrats to Kerry on a gorgeous knife. I can't wait to use it. He sent me the pictures of the finished knife this morning and it was the best Christmas present I could have hoped for.

That tennesee jack is stunning. Totally speechless looking at that badboy. Everything is exactly how I like it! Stout wide blades, deep stag...my dream knife!

Geez Kerry....you didn't hold back on this one. It is simply an outstanding piece of work. What does this beast weigh in at?

Kerry, That's a great looking knife! Looks very clean,
smooth, and you got allot of steel in that small package!
Congrats on a job well done!

Campbell, What a great idea! I love the "LC" pattern! Now
it's even better with the Wharncliffe secondary. I know
you'll carry it for years to come! Or atleast until the next
new KH knife.lol.;)

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. Sorry, I don't weigh them.

Aren't they like a wife?...if you love them, you don't care how much they weigh. :D (:eek:DON'T ANSWER THAT!)

Nice Hunka Hunka knife, Kerry! A workin' man's pride!!
Well ground and stagged!

Ugh...Kerry. After reading the nail nick thread, I didn't think to put the pulls on the other side of the knife, since I'm a lefty. Back to the drawing board ;) ;)

Campbell, you just need to learn how to use your right hand. It's the one on the right...the right one...it's the right one because its on the right side. It's not the wrong one on the left, it's the other one.

In the words that you may have used,

"thats a real purdy" knife!.

Lovely stag on the Tn. Jack.

Well done Kerry, and congrats Campbell.

Between the ej and the tj, I think I done fell in love.

Great looking work Mr Hampton. Just sweet.

Kerry and Campbell
I would have never envisioned this pattern working but this really has the WOW factor going for it. Very neat design.

If you get one with a pinchable blade you don't have to worry about what side the nick is on!
