Actually that was like NASCAR time trials to win a spot on the list to get ON the list, which is really more like a pile. "List" seems so haughty and pretentious.

If I recall that year, we had to pull out about 200 duplicate/cheater cards from the stacks. Note to others-if you don't want to get whipped by other Bose lovers, don't try to cheat in the drawing

The knife is a Khnutbuster for my grandpa. He will get it at his 82nd birthday party on Sunday. I am basically just admiring it until then. I haven't ever held a knife quite like this one before. I am showing Kerry's pic here because I cannot come close to capturing the knife myself.

I have very little experience with traditional knives, everything I have carried for the last 20 years has had a clip and some type of one handed opener or some other nonsense. But I am amazed by this knife. I'm not cutting anything with it, i'll leave that to grandpa, but the way it is built and the attention to detail is like nothing I have ever seen or heard of. I can't wait until I can get one of my own...
