Kerry Hampton Knives

That AH is the Bees Knees, Kerry! The bevels show up nicely in the Ivory. Looks like you did a bang up job!! Musta been nerve-wracking, what with the Maestro lookin' over your shoulder!!

it is nerve wracking but that old dog is still teaching this pup how to hunt. Thanks for the encouragement, y'all.

I really like the chocolate peechseed khnutbuster, Kerry. But I saved the photo of the AH so I remember that blade profile for future use ;)

the first soddie and the BP are awesome!
I think I fell in love with the stag sod, really cool knife, congrats to the maker and to the buyer!

The stag KHnutbuster is sweet knife. The new owner is slowly getting in to traditionals from the non-traditional folder world...he of course blames me for this change in his buying habits. I'm very comfortable taking all blame. :)

Nice Kerry to see that you havent been bored out on the khnutbusters. They just keep to refine. I so enjoy that pattern. Its a simple but thought through pattern. I like how the handle carrys the point deep into the handle and that the single blade is highly pinchable.

Kerry, It was nice to chat with you and handle your knives.... All of them were
really nice.... Glad I'm on the list!

I had to kiss Jason's keister, drink burbon with Kerry, offer to shank an old man and stay up way past my bed time drinking to get that knife..... and, yes, I do blame you for all of it. ;)

The knife is fantastic though.... the maker is a pretty cool dude too. I really enjoyed getting to hang out with both of you.

It's Sunday, all the worshipers have moved on to other churches and offerings are at an all time low. I'm thinking about selling insurance or becoming a marriage counselor. :p :D

I'll have something new to post here in a few days or so...hope so anyway. ;) Blade Show was fun and was good to see old and new buds.

Kerry,
I'm glad to see you posting here!

I'm not into WIPs, not that there is anything wrong with that ;)

Here's one I have been working on...A modified Lanny's Clip we dubbed the Tennessee Jack. Some of you may remember that Campbell (a Tennessee lawyer:eek:) floated that name as an idea for this blade configuration and it stuck. Campbell got "Prototype" and this one is numbered "2" as I already had "0" and "1" cut out and heat treated for a couple other guys. This one is made out of A2 and etched for effect. Campbell sissy-squealed about the blade tension on his so I told him to send it back and I would make it so Tony's 7yo granddaughter could open it. :p The tension on this one is just right...I hope :D I also made a matching knife pick on request.

That is amazing Kerry! I don't see much of your stuff in ebony, it really looks good with the etched blades.

I hope my name is getting close? ;)
