The Ivory is so beautiful, what a shame the government has decided to stick it's nose into such a small area. I am afraid this will
have the exact opposite effect and cause the poachers to be more overt in their attempt to get even more money for what is now
a more valuable commodity!

My knifemaking output is slower than molasses on a winter day but I do manage to finish one now and then. This is the biggest folder I have made to date. It is an old 5 1/2" swell-center hunter pattern that Tony has that differs slightly from the standard 5 1/4" version. This knife is a beefier model...not as slender as the standard. Steel is D2 and the frame is covered with some seriously black ebony. NY Knife Co. Shield.
