Kerry Hampton Knives

That Westinghouse micarta is an inspired choice, would look good on most patterns but especially a Shadow one like this.

Whoever gets it will feel that the wait was more than worth it.

Regards, Will

Finished up this little sweetie over the weekend...3 1/4" Swayback Gent's Knife covered with Westinghouse ivory paper micarta.

So, while bringing a shop vac full of water (courtesy of the 13" rainfall) out of my basement yesterday, I was startled by the post man bringing this little ray of sunshine to me. This is my first custom and Kerry may have ruined me for production knives. I'm glad that Kerry convinced me to go Shadow on it - the Westinghouse micarta is gorgeous stuff. And the bullseye pivot was a pleasant surprise. The brass helps warm up the metal and compliments the micarta. And the business end...well finished, and the swedge is just plain awesome. And no need to sharpen it. This thing's a scalpel.

Haven't seen a new posting here for a while, Kerry's knives are fantastic and wonderful to see the Old Dogs influence on

a gentleman that needs to make more knives, but I digress! Keep them coming brother...

Posted for you viewing pleasure 👍;) this 4" "Bose" BackPocket w/Panama Trapper grind and hidden lanyard pin. We put a long pull in this one and made the spring load lighter than I usually do to accomodate the pull position. This blade can be pinched open. Also, the long pull is about .040" thick and cut with a small diameter keyway cutter making the plunges a bit steeper on the ends. Steel is A2 and etched...of course :)

Very nice, Kerry! I like the fact that you could "tune" that knife so the owner can use it comfortably.

Nice looking knife, Kerry. Good to see you still puttin' them out!

Hope all is well at the Hampton Hearth!

The hidden lanyard pin is a really neat feature if you like the lanyard but don't like the hole...
I like the way the diamond shield corresponds to the square bolsters, too ;)

I agree with Peter on the shield going well with the bolsters and the hidden lanyard pin is a pretty cool feature.
