Kerry Hampton Knives

A diminutive avian message has come to my attention that a KHam project is undergoing digital reproduction as we speak. I believe I was pre-emminent on the proverbial list for many annual divisions, so my anticipation has reached untold heights.

Translation; a little birdie told me that Kerry was taking pictures of a project he cooked up for me. I've been on his dart board for a while now, but this is surely a bullseye!!
Thank you Mr. Knifemaker!

I'd just like to say, it takes chutzpa to make a pair of knives (a brace if you will). A matched pair has to match!! So you can't fudge the lines; a real test for the artisan. These are lookin' good!

Yet again, they look great (big suprise right?).. Are you going to carry them?? Those would go great with a set of matching custom leather pocket sheaths (sp)..

Charlie,I see its gonna get tough on EDC choices for you. I bet you can deal with it though
Real nice Charlie & Kerry !

Those are both spectacular. That ivory would match up perfectly with my ivory Swayback from Kerry.

Kerry - spectacular work!!

Charlie - yowser - what a pair.

Great work, Kerry! Charlie, been a good month for you, friend.:thumbup:

Thanks for the kudos guys. This was my first attempt at a pair and I wish they were a better match. Due to a mishap(I have a lot of those)with the first spear blade, parts ended up being heat treated at different times due to another unfortunate problem we had with Tony's HT oven. If I ever do another pair, they will be brought along together every step of the way.

Sorry to hear of the glitches, but honestly,I think a pair of knives is more versatile with two slightly different blades.I dunno, just seems more practical.I think it was meant to be.Sometimes things work out the best way, looking back at it

Vince, the different blades were done on purpose. I just screwed up the first spear blade when I stamped it and ended up making a linerless zulu spear, which is posted up there somewhere. I learned a lot on this project and will do things different if I ever do another set of some kind.

That is a stunning pair of knives. Kerry, your work is getting to the :eek::eek::eek::eek: level.

Charlie, if you carry one of those, won't you have to worry about the other one getting lonely?

Congratulations to the both of you.
