Kerry Hampton Knives

I like the etched blade. I believe morrowj said he was going to get one with the etched blade also. If I recall Blues got the first one with blade etch. It may help resist corrosion but the important thing is that it looks cool. :D

Any pics of the backspring? That's one of my favorite views of KH's work.. Man that 52100 really really does it for me.. Good stuff..

Ask and ye shall receive.. :D Quicker than I even thought. Thanks Kerry!

And I have to agree with Rob, the etch not only resits corrosion, but really does look

Kerry sure NAILED another BEAUTY!!! Great photos as well!!
Anthony, I bet you are SMILING BIG & having some serious CE'ing & CF'ing sessions!
GOOD ON YOU, SWEETIE!!!
Thanks for sharing & the looksee!!!!

The contrast between the liners/bolsters and etched blade and back spring really gives it a cool look. Rob is correct....The "coolness factor" trumps functionality every time. :p

That's one of the finest looking folders I think I've ever seen. Not surprising when one considers that it was born of the collaboration of two of the finests knifeknuts around. :)

The bone, the etching, the swedging, the bolsters, the choices of steel...man oh man, it's just outstanding. Congratulations Anthony and Kerry. It couldn't be in better hands.

sunnyd & Kerry,that is a real nice one,congrats!

Nice work by the juniormeister! Lucky man, Anthony!!

Wow! I love the swedge on that! Everything about that knife looks just perfect to me. Congratulations! I'm sure you will smile every time you see and use that knife.

Hey my forum peeps! Thank you very much for all the great warm fuzzies AND thanks to Tony for continuing to be my mentor/friend and allowing me to hang out and work at the Wilfred Works.

Anthony, that is a great one. I really love the 52100 and the induced patina....nice stuff that Hampton fellow is turning out :)

Kerry,

Great looking knife, and Photos to boot! Anthony is one lucky dude!

A question for you Kerry, and friends. How would it look to have an etched blade(s)? on a swayback with ivory for scales? Don't know if I have seen one, but that sure as heck doesn't mean that it hasn't been done.

Picts would be great, if there are any around!

Again, Great looking Knife! :p

I would have to say that any knife is going to look good with etched blades and ivory would provide a very high contrast.

All kidding aside fine looking knives. Glen aka Barney Wannabe !

And even though the 2 knives are Tony's, it has a Kerry sheath so it's allowed in this thread ;)
