The only thing I see wrong about this knife is..........................................

It is not coming to me.:grumpy:
Great Job Kerry!

Thanks folks. While I'm thinking about it, does anyone know where I can get a good deal on some G11? :D:D:D

You've brought a Tear to my eye, Kerry!!

One of my favorite old patterns, and nicely executed, including that wild and crazy Swedge!!

Google is your friend. But, not for G-11, at least Margarita Green as defined by KnifeHead.

Actually, I think I have enough of it to make about 1000 knives...just sayin. I know who to ask if I ever need any though.;)

Kerry,

Love your teardrop Jack! Swedges are over the top!
Just wondering, what do you use to cut your long pulls in with?

Thank you for the huge compliment.

We have a block that clampS in the cross vice on the vertical mill. That is the vertical clamping surface for the blades. Then, a 2 3/4" slot cutting saw on a mandrel is used to cut the pull. I go in .050" for long pulls and crescent pulls in flats.

Kerry,

Thanks for the reply, BTW are we going to see a teardrop Jack with a pen anytime soon? If you decide to make one up, it will be a nice extension and mate to this one.

Looking over the jack again, I really like the rounding job you did on the bolsters.

Square corners are like "close but not quite". Square might be ok for X-locks but it ain't purdy on a slip joint. Dang...if you guys are looking that close at my work then I better keep it up...no slackin off now. :D Thank you, Ken.

I know of at least one more of these in my future and the crazy guy wants it with a punch. :p
