Kerry Hampton Knives

Look at the nail nick follow the contour of the blade. We're living the Golden Age of pocket knives with WW at the helm. Go Colts...!!!

Thanks, morroj. I've had the unexplainable grin since Kerry started sending me teaser pics.

It was supposed to have bolsters but I told Kerry early on that I wouldtrust his judgement on most of the details and I wouldn't have him change a thing. I do hope that it is coming with the laynard with the black wrap on the lanyard. It is the perfect compliment to a great knife.

Thanks, Kerry! Again, super cool and can't wait to have it on hand!

Well...I would like to say that it was an artistic choice but I was forging ahead thinking shadow and there you have it. :o Hey ...saved me a days work though, and you money! YAY!

And yes, the lanyard goes with it AND a sexy leather shipping pouch...for shipping...not girly carrying around in your pocket...thats what pockets are for. :D

Starbucks is good for other things besides caffeine, like serving as a holder for my KH Lanny's Clip in jigged micarta ;)

Hey Campbell, since it looks like you're going to be throwing out that Starbucks cup with the knife sticking out of it, can I have it?

Campbell, are there other pics of that knife in this thread ??

Vince, I am more than happy to give you the empty cut-up Starbucks cup. I will bring it to Blade.

I can't remember if there are other pics of the LC in the thread. I will try and take some action shots tomorrow and post them. I have some other tree stickin pics to put up anyways. But this one might tide you over....

Talk about elite company! Congrats, Kerry. That's an accomplishment to be proud of.

I love the scales on that LC - great!
Jigged micarta seems like "kind of a hybrid traditional/modern approach" to knife scales :D
Good traditional look, especially with a shield, good grip and very durable as well.

Can I quote you on that :D

Absolutely :o
...that's why I put it in "quotation marks" (I had to look that up!)

Are there any shadows out there with jigged Micarta scales in other colors than black?

Peter

I haven't done any but I vaguely remember Ken Erickson(I think) did at least one in brown paper micarta.

Wow...my post count is nearing 4,000....WOW!

...and I say "WOW" again. Fun flies when yer doin time. :D
