Kerry Hampton Knives

I thought I would post this shot I snapped with my cellphone today at work.
I have not had this one long enough to show allot of wear yet but it is a user.
This is my first knife with the A2 steel, and so far I like it pretty well.
I have not had to sharpen her yet, just strop her few times and she's screamin' sharp.

I would like to see some other Kerry Hampton users, if there are any :p.

On the Lanny's? It is. It was the first time that Kerry and Tony put a rat tail over the pin like they used to do back in the olde timey days. Kerry's partial description of the process was that Tony beat the crap out of the bolsters. Probably wouldn't look that great on every knife but seems to work with that pattern.

That deeply fluted front bolster reminded me of a late '50s chromed out bumper! Just BEAUTIFUL !!

Thanks guys, although Kerry did all of the hard work. That was his first WT so I'm sure they are even better now. Both came with really nice stag.

I make users, 'cept for that purdy Lanny's Clip of Mikes. Hopefully this one will see some use....first one of these I made, single blade Camillus 4-line Trapper. I wish the bone matched better from side to side but it's still a pretty darn nice knife.

I have made a bit of a change in the way I stamp the serial numbers. I adopted the WW method of serializing using numerals 0 thru 9 for the first ten knives made. To use the WilfredWorks stamp, I needed to find a different location for the S/N so I opted for that little spot next to the pile-side runup.
