Kershaw carabiner knife review

Hey guys, anybody ever own a carabiner 1004? I have had one for several years , and I love it. I take it every time i go fishing in the boat. I clip it to my fishing pants and it is always handy for cutting line, cutting rope and opening Jerky and licorice bags. I use the screw drivers occasionally to tighten screws on reels and other miscellaneous items. I never use it to anchor my boat because it says right on it "NO LOAD" but it is quite handy to attache it wherever I may need an emergency cut of one kind or another. Overall I like the design and functionality of this tool and a low price as well. The bottle opener is Ok but hey real men open bottles with their teeth anyway !! I give it a up !!:thumbup::thumbup:

Oh...you care, OE...you care....if you didn't...you would just STFU...but you LIKE to stir up the stinky mud.

IT IS A KERSHAW forum on BladeForums, and if you think THIS one is overly biased, if the troll OP(which by definition, is someone who comes in, craps in the forum, and splits, while everyone is all frothed up) had tried this on the Busse forum the way that he did....there would be Hogs EATING him right now.

Your view is that of precocious 12 year old who can't see over the counter without a step stool....I look forward to your hiatus...the longer the better...as a matter of fact...please make it permanent!

Hahaha.... I always like to say that if you try crap like that in the Busse forum, and, your door bell rings shortly after.... you probably shouldn't answer it....:p:D

STeven, sometimes you just have a way of saying what we are all thinking.

:D

All i can say is WOW.... The link of this to the post on the other board (EDCFORUMS) really defined the intention to "troll" here.

He is probably bitter due to his taste in chili.....

The offer still stands. Heck, I'll take it a step further, let me know another Kershaw that might be of interest, PM with an address where you would like it shipped, and I'll get it out today for you. You can dispose of the 1004, thus relieving it from your craw.

Absolutely amazing. THIS is why I buy Kershaw knives. My Composite JYDII is in the mail and I'm counting down the days

I just bought a red Carbiner Knife just because of this review. I think it's a nice tool, worthy of the $32 I spent on it. It takes a nice edge and keeps it for a reasonable period of time. The spring-loaded gate is a nice touch, even if it's not made to support a person's weight. The screwdrivers haven't gotten a workout yet, but the bottle opener opens bottles nicely. My wife wanted to be a mall ninja so she opened the blade and stuck the handle around her fist like a pair of brass knuckles, so I got my laugh for today. Even if you took out the screwdrivers, it's a nice tool for the money. I keep it clipped to my pack.

Stelth must live a charmed life if something so petty can still bother him a year later.

That and he's a regular "Ralph Nader" just trying to save the little guy from the crippling horror of having a multi-tool not live up to his expectations.

Additionally, there are so many logical inconsistencies in his posts it is impossible to take any of it seriously.
