Handle is not 8CR...
Thomas, I am going out on a limb here and predict the Cryo will be quite a big seller for you and Kershaw.
I second. The new catalog I got at the blade show says the handle is 8cr13mov. What is it then? What IS the handle made from?
Not that it really matters, I'm just curious.

I just stumbled across this gem...nice! I'm in for a pre-order on the II.
Handle is not 8CR...
Please tell...may i ask where you pre ordered it?
Why do all of the online retailers say that the handles are 8cr13mov then?
Maybe it was originally going to be 8cr?
Please tell...

I pre-ordered my small version from http://www.gpknives.com/kershaw1555tihinderercryoflipper.html
has anyone though that the handles might be 410 ss like the onions and pretty much some sort of handle implement (frame, liner etc)Interesting that KAI is using blade steel for the handles. The liner side makes some sense since its a spring, but the non liner to match is nifty. Guess 8cr13mov must really be easy to work with.
Its mid june now, is it here yet?
