Kershaw Cryo?

Most likely they will post the official release of it on their Facebook page like they have been doing recently.

I talked to some people from Kershaw and they were very vague on the release date. I have heard everything from March to mid summer though. I have wanted to get a Kershaw for a while now, this will be my first. I typically cary Buck or Benchmade.

I put a pre-order for one at Howes Knife Shop, they didn't require any money down. Don't know if anyone else is offering pre-orders.

Knife Center is taking orders as well. I just PM'd Kershawguy to see if he's taking pre-orders.

Anyone know where the best deal on this sucker is? I saw on knifecenter that they have it for like 30 bucks. Oh, does Kershaw put 1st production on the blade?

Wonder if the mini ZT in the works is a beefed up version of the Cryo (That would be awesome), or an in house design (That would also be awesome.) either way, I'm in on both the Cryo and mini ZT....Kai just keeps steppin it up!

I am in on the Cryo, looks like a great little knife, inexpensive but not cheap. I do hope the the Cryo does morph into a mini ZT flipper ( little brother to the 0560/0561) that would be awesome, yes it would cost alot more but worth every penny.

I got my preorder in last night. This looks like a good small EDC that won't break the bank. Hopefully it's not too far off. :D

+1

The 0560 really gets me going, it's just too big for an EDC for me. Can't justify the dollars. I'm still going to try to talk myself into one if/when I can get my hands on one and see how it feels in the pocket. I would pay for all that sexy tech and materials if it was in a package I would carry. I've got three of the Cryo on preorder.

For $30, I'm foreseeing myself getting two - one to play with and one to keep as-is. I could see maybe grinding (or milling if I can talk my machinist friend into it) the front SS scale down thinner and adding some G-10 to it (in of course... Orange).

While I am not the biggest fan of Chinese products I have to get in on the Cryo. It has a lot going for it. I Pre-ordered 2. They will find their way into tool boxes, glove boxes/consoles and probably my checked luggage (destination dependent). My real deal Hinderers have almost ruined my desire for other knives, but I am a knife guy to the core. I will continue to gather many different models, but carry my XMs every day. I say if you are on the fence--get down and Pr-order a Cryo. Hard to go too wrong for such a small price.

I hope they put "first production" on it, I've always wanted to own a sweet knife from a first run.
