Kershaw Cryo?

I hope its way before that LOL. Its a cute knife looks like a mini ZT561 to my eyes. I'd like to own a hinderer design knife and as kershaw's ad copy says this is the hinderer for the rest of us. If I was getting one to go on a deployment (I am long retired from the army was an infantry officer for a while) I'd of course spring for a ZT or a custom from hinderer but since I'll be flipping mine in my recliner while I watch war movies offshore made is fine.
 
23 March is not bad, However I am still waiting for the knockout release so we shall see.
 
I like the looks of the cryo, if Kershaw were to make that in the USA out of a better blade steel and maybe a titanium handled version as well I would be all over it. But obviously that would not be at the price point this knife is at. This knife is tempting at that price.

titanium handle is all I need steel is ok and I could care less if they made it an the Philippines lol

I've been lurking around for a bit and am popping up to say that I'm pretty excited about this one as well. I've really been on the fence about a ZT0550, but I do wish it were a bit smaller (I work in an office building and am looking for a new EDC) and this seems to fit the bill quite nicely. Looking forward to it's release!
 
The more I think about this knife, the more I think I'm going to like it. It'll be a cool change up from the leek.
 
This might be one of the most highly anticipated import knives from Kershaw.

What ever happened to the un catologed one that resembles the Chill? The off shore dual grind slight hawkbill flipper? not the RJ I or II.

I have two concerns about this knife:

1) When will I get one (or the three I've per-ordered)?

2) I'm worried it might displace the Skyline as my favorite EDC (a quality problem, I admit).

Every time I see this thread jump to the top, I get excited!
 
Any more updates on the release date? I'm ready to buy a handful of these as soon as they are available! There's no question in my mind that this is going to be Kershaw's next big EDC hit! It's a beautiful knife!
 
Very glad to see a 4-position clip on a Kershaw! I'll be all over this one for sure. Shouldn't be long now...

Well Thomas, you were right but that is what Spark told me when I ordered so c'est la vie.

For what it's worth perhaps you could add some insight as to when they may arrive.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up too early, but my preorder status just changed from "On Backorder" to "In Process" - hopefully it won't be long now!
